 MY NATURAL SKIN CARE ROUTINE


CLEANSER -


It is  the primary step. Cleansing is very important step in skincare routine. As it cleans the whole face, take out the dirt and bacteria. It cleanses your pores, removes dirt in a very natural and gentle way. Removes dirty oil with beneficial oils that can heal and nourish your skin. Some ingredients which can be used as cleansers are:-



(1) RAW MILK

HOW TO USE  :

Take about 1/2 teaspoon of the honey on your fingers. Warm it between your fingers. Add just a few drops of water if necessary to make a spreadable consistency. Then gently rub it on your face for at least 30 seconds. Rinse off with cold water and pat your face dry. If you have time, you’ll get the best results by leaving the thin layer of honey on for at least 10 minutes before rinsing.

SCRUB

  • 1 tablespoon of Coconut/ Olive oil.
METHOD :

Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Apply this mixture on your face and scrub in upward circular movements for about 5 to 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Use this scrub twice a week for best results.

(3) COCONUT OIL AND ALMOND



INGREDIENTS  :

  • 1 cup raw Almond Pulp (after straining homemade almond milk)
  • 2 tablespoons Virgin Coconut Oil
METHOD :

Combine the ingredients until you get a coarse paste. Do not heat the oil as this might cause the sugar to melt. Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Apply this mixture on your face and scrub in upward circular movements for about 5 to 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Use this scrub twice a week for best results. This face scrub will exfoliate the skin and help reduce the appearance of cellulite.


FACE MASK

  • 1-2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp of Gram Flour
  • 1 tablespoon of Curd 
  • 1 teaspoon of Honey
  • A pinch of Turmeric.
METHOD :

Mix all the ingredients to make a thick paste. You can add some water or rose water to get proper consistency, if required. Apply this paste on the face and neck, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and pat dry.


(3) FULLER'S EARTH 



INGREDIENTS :
  • 2 tablespoons of Fuller’s Earth
  • 1 tablespoon of Sandalwood Powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric 
  • 2 tablespoon of Rose Water
METHOD :
Mix the Fuller's Earth and Sandalwood powder with some water or Rose water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the face and neck, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and pat dry.


TONER

Mix the ingredients together and store in a glass or plastic container. Using a cotton pad, lightly rub the toner on your face and neck. You can also store this toner in a spray bottle and spray a light mist directly on your skin to freshen your skin throughout the day. 
This hydrating toner is super gentle, making it ideal for sensitive skin. Both Rose Water and Aloe Vera have anti-inflammatory properties so they’ll reduce redness and swelling. They’re also bursting with antioxidants to brighten the skin and fight free radicals that cause premature aging. You can apply this multiple times a day to freshen skin.
MOISTURIZER



INGREDIENTS :
  • 12 tablespoons Beeswax
  • 1 cup Aloe Vera Gel  
  • 1/4 cup Almond Oil
  • 1/4 cut Coconut Oil
  • Few drops Essential Oil (any essential oil)
METHOD :

Melt the Beeswax, coconut, and almond oils in a double boiler. Pour the oils into a blender and let the mixture cool down. Add the essential oils and the aloe vera gel. Blend until you get a creamy texture. Store the mixture a glass jar. You can even store it in the refrigerator.

Aloe vera soothes your skin and reduces inflammation. Beeswax heals your skin and keeps it moisturized, and essential oils prevent infection and help in healing your skin. And oil keeps your skin hydrated.
